Orders
How do I return my order?
If you would like to return your order, please contact us here.
Return Policy:
Full price items in their original packaging and unworn condition can be returned within 5 days of being delivered. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept refunds, exchanges or returns on any earrings.
Return Cost:
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and all original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Return Processing:
Once we have received and approved your return, your refund or exchange will be processed within 48hrs. Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank to process the funds back into your account.
Can I return earrings?
No, unfortunately we cannot accept returns, refunds or exchanges on any earrings. This is an industry standard that we must follow due to hygiene reasons.
How will my jewellery be packaged?
With sustainability and high quality at the forefront of Malakai the Label, our packaging is completely reusable, recyclable and compostable. Your jewellery will come in a 100% kraft paper mailer with a waterproof lining, packaged beautifully in our signature velvet shell jewellery box.
To prevent unnecessary waste, the number of shell jewellery boxes is according to the size of individual orders. If you would like more than one jewellery box for gifting purposes, please let us know before placing the order here or leave a note in your order.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Of course, if you contact info@malakaithelabel.com our customer service team will be able to assist you with this.
If your order has already been dispatched, our customer service team will assist you with the next steps.
I received the wrong thing?
While we hope this never happens, perfection is impossible and mistakes do happen.
Please contact our customer service team here with your order number and images of the item you received and we will resolve this for you as soon as possible.
I have received a faulty item?
If you believe your item has a fault, please contact our customer service team here. with your order number and images of the item within 5 days of receiving your package and we will work with you to resolve this.
The item I want is sold out?
We do our best to restock items as quickly as possible. To be the first to know when a product is back, we recommend signing up for restock notifications. Simply go to the product page, choose your preferred colour, click "Notify Me," enter your email, and hit submit!
How do I know my ring size?
We know it can be hard finding your ring size online, so we have made a simple guide for you to follow to ensure you get it right. You can find our ring sizing guide here or ask for assistance via our live chat.
Do all of your earrings come in pairs?
Yes, all of our earrings come in pairs. We do not offer singular earrings.
Shipping
When will my order be shipped?
All orders are shipped from Perth, Western Australia between Monday and Friday. The MTL team works hard to have your orders out within 48 hours.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive your tracking information via email, please remember to check your spam folder.
Please note that our send out times may be delayed during peak sale periods and holidays.
How long is shipping?
All orders are shipped from Perth, Australia between Monday- Friday.
Australia:
Standard Shipping: 4-7 business days
Express Shipping: 2-5 business days
New Zealand:
Standard Shipping: 3-10 business days
UK:
Standard Shipping: 5-10 business days
How do I track my order?
Once we have shipped your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a link to track your order. If you have not received a shipping confirmation email after 5 days of placing your order, please double check your spam folder. If you still cannot find an email, please contact us here.
My order never arrived, what do I do?
If your tracking is showing that it has been delivered but you don't have the package, please double check your residence and ask neighbours, family or anyone else that could know of it's whereabouts.
If you are still unable to locate your package, please contact Australia Post. Once you have contacted AusPost please contact us here so we can also launch an investigation.
Please note that we are not responsible for any packages lost or damaged in transit.
Jewellery Care
What is your jewellery made from?
Sterling Silver:
Made from the highest quality, solid sterling silver (925). The '925' marked on all of our silver pieces stand for 92.5% minimum pure silver. As pure silver is soft and malleable, which can make it prone to breakage, 7.5% is made up of alloy. Each piece is finished with an anti-tarnish rhodium coating to help protect against oxidation, keeping our jewellery tarnish resistant.
18k Gold Vermeil:
Vermeil, (pronounced ver- may) is the highest quality method of gold plating, not to be mistaken with standard gold plating however. Made from a thick layer of gold (at least 2.5 microns) on sterling silver. We use a higher quality than most gold that is 18 karats.
18k Gold Stainless Steel:
Crafted from premium 18k gold 316L stainless steel, finished with advanced PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating. This modern technique bonds the gold layer to the stainless steel at a molecular level, making it highly durable, waterproof, and tarnish- proof, fading, and corrosion. You can wear our 18k gold stainless steel to swim, shower, and live your life without taking them off.
What is the difference between 18k gold vermeil and 18k gold stainless steel?
18k gold vermeil is made with a thick layer of gold (at least 2.5 microns) over a sterling silver base, offering a more traditional and refined option.
18k gold stainless steel, on the other hand, features a layer of 18k gold bonded to stainless steel, making it highly durable, water-proof, and ideal for everyday wear.
Both are beautiful choices, the best one depends on your lifestyle and preferences.
What is a RJC certified factory ?
An RJC Certified factory is a facility that has been certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), an international organisation that sets ethical, human rights, social, and environmental standards for jewellery manufacturing.
Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?
Yes, all of our jewellery is made from high grade hypoallergenic sterling silver, 18k gold vermeil and 18k gold stainless steel. It is also completely nickel- free and suitable for people with sensitive skin or allergies.
Does your jewellery come with a warranty?
Yes it does! All of our jewellery comes with a 3-month warranty period. This doesn’t include general wear and tear, please visit our warranty page here for more info.
My ring has small scratches?
This is totally normal, metal is malleable and therefore over time will exhibit signs of wear and tear.
My earrings aren't clipping in?
We recommend gently lifting the tip of the earring post that fits into the hinge, this can help ensure the clasp closes securely. If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to contact us here.
